Are Republicans “on our side?”

Is the Republican Party really on our side? I don’t think they are although the Democratic Party is becoming “remarkable” for its opposition to American principles and the American People (meaning us, of course).
One example: Conservatives argue — “90% income taxation is terrible!” — They purposely leave out that income tax is graduated and a billionaire still has $100 million left after taxes. What would any of us do if we had “only” $100 million dollars “left” at the end of every year???
— I AM a conservative but I will not LIE to make any point. It’s a silly goddam idea: if all billionaires are “good” then how about Bezos, Zuckerberg or Soros? This applies to millionaires too like Clooney, Cher and many Hollywood stars and directors. But then Conservatives answer: “But government will spend it all on social programs!” Wrong — we have the military power to equal China,, Russia and the next three most powerful countries combined. WE got there by spending hundreds of billions PER YEAR. The federal government also spends huge sums on preserving wildlife, regulating* such things as commercial fishing and so on.
→ This is stupid: what they really mean is we must ensure good government spending and the best way to begin is to get rid of the Corrupt and Anti-American Democratic Party that’s now in control of our federal government. That Republicans don’t do that is another sign they have no real interest in helping the American People either.
What’s to be done? The answer has been tested and proven: Reform. We are the American People, we’ve had experience with this in the past; Martin Luther King, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony are two great examples. The central concept behind the whole Constitution and it’s Bill of Rights is the control of government of, for and by the People.

*Government regulation can be good or it can be misapplied. Like both parties, the Republicans mistakenly over generalize when they say that government regulation is always bad.
