Carl Sagan Got It All Wrong

I remember watching Carl Sagan’s Cosmos with my wife in 1980. We were very impressed when he speculated about the possibility of life on other planets, and we know that line of thinking led to the now famous SETI Project which incorporated in 1984.
But that was then, and this is now, a quarterway through the 21st Century. Now we are seeing testimony by experienced Navy pilots and Air Force missile officers telling of encounters with craft that travel through our skies with impunity, displaying capabilities no human agency has produced.
Not only did Carl Sagen get it wrong, Stephen Hawking and Michio Koku, judging from their public statements, are also way off the mark. The SETI Project was never necessary. It’s like waiting for a long distance letter from your mother who lives with you.
We cannot predict what will happen from this point. Do not conclude that I claim anything against the honorable Carl Sagan. Instead, know that failed efforts always teach us things of value.
Forty-four years after Cosmos first aired, we have learned that the great probability is that cosmic extraterrestrials are here on Earth and guiding us to cosmic truth.
