Oh but let me suggest, what if both parties are equally egregious? Just check “where we stand” on the Democratic Party’s website. <https://democrats.org/where-we-stand/>. And then check the Republican Party website. <https://www.gop.com/>
I think it’s obvious: both parties have already been practicing what you suggest for a long time. Also, both employ “critics”of the other party. They are both spending millions on “educating the public” but only to the point where the public sees only one side of the story at a time.
Mark Twain: “Both parties accuse each other of terrible things. Both are correct.”
I agree only that “your plan” is indeed “diabolical.” Because obviously you’re soldiering for the the Democratic Party. Like a Chechen militia man in Ukraine.
Let me further suggest: It may serve you and others better if you firmly adopt the attitude of an Independent Voter. Choose the most competent and most honest candidate (s) regardless of party affiliation.
The Constitution has given us a plan for government which has worked out so that the U.S. is the most successful nation in world history.
Fifty-two years and thirteen presidential elections have convinced me.
Now go vote.
