By this news flash on Fox News this morning, it looks even more certain that Vladimir Putin plans to launch tactical nukes against the city of Mariupol, one of the two mostly likely nuclear targets I mention in my previous post here on Medium.

By the time I finish writing this sentence, it will be 3:36 PM in Moscow, Russia.

Also announced, reports coming out of Mariupol tell of Russian troops forcing people sheltering in Mariupol to evacuate the city.

As it is, about 90% of the structures in that city have already been destroyed. The obvious need to remove all possible humans quickly can be viewed as a way Putin thinks he will be “forgiven” because destroying a ghost town isn’t a “crime against humanity.” Some will even support his “humanitarianism” — helping shield him from becoming an internationally wanted war criminal.

About 3 PM EST — will be the deadline. That’s six hours away.

About tactical nukes, they come in a range of “yields” but most will be at least several kilotons more than the bombs that obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan. A Soviet Era intercontinental bomb used in targeting cities about the size of those two cities included one to three 250 kiloton bombs. This literally means vaporizing such a city. Mariupol

Mariupol when fully populated has 431,859 souls living there. I can’t find the total land area but that’s four times the number of people living in my Michigan city. And by the way, the Soviets had targeted my city with three 250 kiloton warheads. THREE. Putin “inherited” nuclear weapons from the Soviet Era. He’s going for maximum propaganda impact while minimizing opposition as much as possible. He already has the willing support of the “Russian” Orthodox Church for this war crime and the willing support of some Russian patriots plus the forced support from all of his government ministers. He can pull this off like a snap of the fingers. He’s still in control of even President Joe Biden.

We here in the Eastern Time Zone will be witnessing it for ourselves in about 20 minutes. Sit back and watch, you can’t do anything else but that.
