This May Be Trump’s Final Act

We have all witnessed what transpired over the past few days after President Trump threatened the ABC Network to intimidate them into firing late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

But the counter reaction is what interests me: millions of people canceled their subscription to Disney + (the parent company of ABC). This in turn caused the restoration of the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Disney and ABC are both standing up to Trump’s threat to have ABC’s. broadcast licensed revoke.

Trump has done a good job of putting people who will do his biding in various key positions and that includes Trump’s head of the Federal Communication Commision.

But this time Trump’s action has provoked a critical reaction against him personally as well as him as president. I think we are seeing the unravelling of Trump’s power: his MAGA base seems to have decided they (and America) can do without Trump’s bullying. Trump has made America Angry Again, and this time the the anger is directed at Donald Trump!
